Direct close encounter with bears

I was at Whistler B.C. Canada walking along a trail when a mother bear and cubs came out of the woods right in front of me. Yaiiks!

That is pretty cool but also scary. I wonder what I would have done if I ran into a bear in the woods.

DerekSpeed it happened to me one time, it scared the day lights out of me. Usually black and brown bears are okay unless you spook them or mess around with their cubs. But you definitely want to stay away from Grizzleys.
